Direct Sales Executives

Sean has been in sales almost all his business life. For the last five years, he has been selling credit card merchant services. Due to the recent trend in technology, Sean now has the option to work from his house.

His responsibilities also include managing 28 other salesmen, in eight states, who report directly to him and work for the same company. Just like Sean, each of his 28 salesmen also work from their homes. Sean’s company uses the Universal Office as a tool to manage their sales force and provide a professional and uniform image for their company regardless in which state or who’s home office their customers call.

"Communicating with prospects, and my group of salesman became an integral part of conducting business for me. Especially when I work out of my house or my car when I am on the road. I needed a way to accept and distribute information on the fly and also be able to decipher the important calls from the less important calls.” says Sean. Sean’s company uses the Universal Office as the system that incorporates everything they need into one communications solution.

"I use the Universal Office during the day to accept calls. The Universal Office always tells me the name of the caller first, so I can be prepared when I answer the call. I have the option of letting the caller get through to me, or ask my Genie to take a message. It’s easy to just put my existing caller on hold, and switch over to the new caller. Each morning I use my Virtual Conference Room to conduct a sales meeting where I update my salesman and they update me and each other on new business opportunities." says Sean.

Sean also utilizes the Audio & Fax on demand features of the Universal Office, seven days a week to give callers audio presentations on their services, with instructions on receiving more information by fax. All with out Sean having to lift a finger.

"When our corporate office comes out with a new services, I simply store them as a fax on demand brochure which can be retrieved anytime 365 days a year. Our Universal Office works for us even when we are off after hours or for holidays. I also broadcast the information directly to my team of salesman in the field. With the Universal Office broadcasting, its an automated process that saves a ton of time and money." says Sean.

Sean has the fax numbers of all his salesman saved in one of his PhoneBooks. When he needs to fax them, Sean has to send only one copy of the fax to his PhoneBook and Genie delivers a copy of the fax to each of his 28 salesmen, either to their fax machine or as an e-mail attachment, which they can retrieve from almost any commuter.

"I also use the broadcasting feature of the Universal Office to send new information to current customers and prospects. In my business follow up is key. The Universal Office helps me automate the process.,” says Sean.

Sean uses the Internet everyday to listen to and review his incoming faxes. "I'm on the phone with a potential customer who requested a brochure on one of our services. While we were on the phone, I put my customer on a short hold, called my Genie and ordered the fax on demand brochure. Within a few minutes, he had everything he needed and I never had to get up or get off the phone with him.

Sean uses conference calling with his salesman as well. "I'll broadcast a message to my salesman telling them. Requesting that they attend a special sales meeting on Saturday at 9:00 A.M, on Saturday at 9:01 A.M. the first salesman comes in, then the second, then the third and so on. There's nothing like the power of The Virtual Conference Room for an on the fly conference call. The rates are spectacular as well!" says Sean.

There you have it, Sean uses the Universal Office as his personal electronic secretary for handling incoming calls, conference calling, broadcasting, and information distribution. "If I had the Universal Office five years ago, I might have more time for tennis instead of logging those boring highway miles! My Universal Office streamlines, and automates my workday letting me concentrate more on closing the sale. That's what I do best!" says Sean.
